When a Personal Visit is Still Required for Ukrainian Military Registration.
Acquiring Military Registration Documents in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian citizens can now obtain their military registration document without having to visit a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) in person. This key document for military registration is essential, and it is important to note that paper military tickets are no longer issued. However, there are specific circumstances where a personal visit to a TRC remains mandatory.
Digital Options for Registration
For instance, a 29-year-old man sought to obtain his document. According to Andrii Bryliov, the man needed to install and use the 'Reserve+' application, where he could receive his electronic military registration document (e-MRD). Yurii Aivazian also noted the possibility of accessing the e-MRD through the 'Diia' government services app. This shift is part of a broader digital transformation of public services in Ukraine, aiming to streamline bureaucratic processes for citizens.
Nevertheless, as Yurii Aivazian stated, if an individual cannot utilize these digital options, they will be required to appear in person at a TRC to register. Therefore, while alternative methods exist, some citizens may still be obligated to visit a recruitment center to resolve their matters.
The change in procedure for obtaining military documents reflects a trend toward digitizing state services. The implementation of systems like 'Reserve+' and 'Diia' may also reduce the workload on Territorial Recruitment Centers, while still providing an option for those without access to technology to receive necessary documents through traditional means. It is crucial for all citizens to be aware of the new opportunities opened by digitalization and to know which options are available for obtaining their military registration documents.
