No Reinstatement for Those Removed from Military Registry: What Ukrainians Should Know.
Military Registration and Removal from the Registry
According to Novyny.live: Individuals who have been removed from the military registry cannot be reinstated, though they may still be summoned to a Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC). This issue has sparked debate among experts because, despite the possibility of a summons, returning to the registry is not legally permitted.
Rules for Removal from the Registry
In Ukraine, military registration ends when a citizen reaches the age of 60. However, removal based on health status can occur at any age. The decision of a military medical commission is the key factor in such removals.
“They have no right to reinstate you in the registry.” – Vladyslav Deriy
At the same time, a person who has been removed can still be called to the TCC. Vyacheslav Kyrda notes:
“They can invite you to the TCC. But I believe the question of reinstatement in the registry will not arise.”This indicates that while a summons is possible, it does not automatically lead to a return to military registration.
Therefore, it is crucial to understand that removal from the military registry in Ukraine follows clear rules and procedures, which do not allow reinstatement for individuals removed due to health reasons, even if they are summoned to the TCC. This situation requires careful attention from citizens to avoid misunderstandings in the future.
Given the current challenges related to military service, it is essential for citizens to be aware of their rights and responsibilities. This knowledge can help them avoid potential legal issues while fulfilling their obligations to the state.
