Officials' family exposed in illicit enrichment, free meals for students. Highlights of October 4.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, a family of officials was exposed for illicit enrichment, the government will provide free meals for primary school students, and the enterprise "Spetstechnoexport" was transferred under the management of the Ministry of Defense. Free meals for primary school students
Starting in October, the government will provide free one-Time meals for students in grades 1-4. For this, 2 billion hryvnias have been allocated and will be distributed to local communities in the form of subsidies.
Previously, only students from preferential categories could receive hot meals, the funding of which was covered by local budgets. The new subsidy will help provide adequate nutrition for all primary school students and promote the formation of healthy eating habits from an early age.
The fund distribution mechanism from the subsidy will ensure the same conditions for meals in general secondary education institutions throughout the country.
Family of officials exposed in illicit enrichment in Khmelnytskyi region
Tetyana Krupu, the head of the Khmelnytskyi regional center of medical and social expertise (MSEK), and her son Oleksandr Krupu, the head of the regional Pension Fund, were exposed for illicit enrichment. During searches of their offices, almost 6 million dollars in cash were discovered.
During a search in Tetyana Krupu's office, employees of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) found 100 thousand dollars, fake medical documents, lists of people evading taxes, with fake diagnoses. Almost 5 million 244 thousand dollars, 300 thousand euros, over 5 million hryvnias, branded jewelry, and precious items were found in the office.
Government transferred "Spetstechnoexport" under the management of the Ministry of Defense
The Cabinet of Ministers decided to transfer the subsidiary of the state company "Ukrspecexport" - "Spetstechnoexport" - to the management of the Ministry of Defense. The reason for this was problems with accounts receivable and other financial and economic violations identified in the enterprise.
The Ministry of Defense decided to conduct an audit of "Spetstechnoexport" due to challenges auditors faced during the internal audit, including limited access to documents and the accounting system.
A collaborator was blown up in Enerhodar, who held a high position at the ZNPP
In the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, the car of the "chief of physical security" of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant exploded. This collaborator was involved in organizing and executing war crimes and repressions against Ukrainians. He voluntarily cooperated with the Russian occupiers by providing them with lists of station employees with their personal data, with particular attention to citizens with a pro-Ukrainian stance.
The Cabinet reduced the appearance term to the temporary criminal investigation center
The Cabinet of Ministers amended the Procedure for calling citizens for military service during mobilization. Now a person must arrive at the temporary criminal investigation center (TCC) within seven days from the regional administrative center and within ten days from other settlements.
