Man from Odesa region accidentally killed his cohabitant.
A resident of the Odesa region accidentally killed his cohabitant for leaving the house. The man was detained and taken into custody, facing a sentence of 7 to 10 years in prison.

Details of the case
A 38-year-old resident of the Shabiv community beat his cohabitant for leaving their home to visit a friend. The next day, attempting to return his beloved, the perpetrator went to the opponent's house and again beat the woman in the yard before taking her home. In the morning, he found his cohabitant unconscious in bed and called an ambulance, but fled the scene as soon as the medics arrived. The 35-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with head injuries, brain swelling, and numerous bruises. Unfortunately, she soon died. Police quickly located the suspect and arrested him within hours.

The suspect has been informed of the charges under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (deliberate serious bodily harm resulting in the victim's death).
