High Price: Syrskyi Summarized the Year and Named Priorities for 2025.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine held a meeting to summarize the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2024.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, listened to reports on ensuring combat operations, the work of the Air Force and air defense, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, preparation and restoration of combat readiness, logistics, mobilization, and countering offenses.
Syrskyi emphasized that this year has been a test of the resilience of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
However, despite everything, we held on and continue the fight – we are restraining a numerically superior enemy, maintaining control over strategically important areas, keeping control over the western part of the Black Sea, and reducing the military and industrial potential of the enemy, particularly through DeepStrike means. We are destroying the aggressor by all possible means.
Oleksandr Syrskyi also noted that during 2024, total losses of the occupiers amount to over 421 thousand killed and wounded.
This year, the Russians paid the highest price since the beginning of their invasion of Ukraine. Total enemy losses during this Time amount to about 785 thousand military personnel.
Furthermore, Syrskyi noted that there is a significant increase in the supply of unmanned systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and their effectiveness is improving.
We are increasing this crucial component necessary in the context of modern technological warfare. Compared to last year, the supply of unmanned systems to our units has increased by 19 times. The number of enemy targets hit and destroyed has increased by 3.7 times. This year, we have also significantly improved the training of mobilized servicemen, as quality training is essential for preserving the lives of our warriors.
At the meeting, problems were also addressed and priorities for the next year were defined.
Specific tasks were set for the command and management. I express my gratitude to the warriors for the resilience of Ukraine's defense under such extremely difficult conditions. Glory to Ukraine!
