Today, 205 Ukrainian soldiers returned from Russian captivity. President Zelensky noted: 'Young guys and adult men from almost all types and branches of the armed forces have returned home. They had been scattered across many Russian regions, imprisoned by the penal system with a single task: to humiliate and destroy humanity. We brought them back. And I thank everyone who worked on this exchange.'
The State Border Guard Service published a video of the exchange of prisoners, where one of the released soldiers shouted: 'I am home! I am home!'. Also, on April 19, another 277 Ukrainian soldiers returned from Russian captivity, among whom were representatives of various military units and special services.
Every returned soldier is an important event for every Ukrainian, so it is necessary to support and honor the feats of Ukrainian defenders.
