The Cherkasy region has reduced the curfew on Easter night.
In the Khmelnytsky region, the curfew will change on Easter night. It will be in effect from 00:00 to 3:00. This was reported by the head of the Khmelnytsky OVA, Serhiy Tyurin.
According to Serhiy Tyurin, this decision was made at the Defense Council of the region. The extension of the curfew was due to the situation in eastern Ukraine and the need to enhance the security of the faithful community.
'I understand how important this holiday is for each of us. In peacetime, churches were filled with worshippers. But, unfortunately, the fourth year of a great war brings its corrections. Recent tragedies in Kryvyi Rih, Sumy, constant enemy shelling of our cities and villages, and our region is no exception, force us to be especially vigilant,' wrote Serhiy Tyurin.
Also, in the Kirovohrad region, the curfew will be shortened during the Easter night. It will be in effect from midnight to 4:00 AM. This decision was made by the head of the Kirovohrad OVA, Oleg Raikovych.
The community of believers is actively preparing for Easter and observing their traditions. The cost of the Easter basket in Ukraine has increased due to the war. In 2022, its price was 1135 hryvnias, and in 2025 it reached 1867 hryvnias.
