A strike drone damaged a residential building in Sumy district
As a result of the strike by a Russian strike drone in the village of Sad, a two-story residential building was damaged. This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Administration Mykhailo Melnyk.
«Around 00:00 in the village of Sad, as a result of the arrival of a UAV of the type «Shahed», a two-story multi-apartment building was damaged,» he noted.
According to the head of the Sumy Regional Administration, there are no fatalities, but there have been no reports of injuries.
Consequences of the strike in the Sad community
It is noted that in the community, other residential buildings have also been damaged, including windows, facades, and coverings. Relevant services are working at the site of the impact. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.
The Sad Village Council has already set up a headquarters to eliminate the consequences of the strike.
Warning from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the launch of drones
Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the launch of strike drones by Russian troops from the northern and southern directions. In several regions, including Sumy region, an air alert was declared.
Couple killed under the rubble in Sumy
In Sumy, the bodies of two more people were recovered from the rubble after the night strike of a drone on a high-rise building. Three couples were killed.
