The enemy has not abandoned the plan to create a "buffer zone" in the Kharkiv region — analyst.
The occupiers do not abandon their attempts to capture the city of Vovchansk and create a "buffer zone" in the Kharkiv region. This task remains relevant. This was reported by military analyst Denys Popovych on the broadcast of the TV channel FREEДOM.
Currently, a significant military formation "North" is concentrated in the region, possessing certain capabilities. The adversary, in addition to attempting to counterattack in the Kursk region to push Ukrainian forces out of the area, is also trying to capture Vovchansk. This goal has not lost its relevance," noted the analyst.
He also reported that the Russian troops were tasked to reclaim the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant.
"The occupiers managed to place their flag on the buildings of this plant," added the studio guest.
Popovych emphasized that the tasks for the Russian troops remain unchanged - to capture Vovchansk and create a "buffer zone" in the Kharkiv region.
"No one canceled these tasks. Therefore, the adversary continues to attack, trying to achieve these goals. Since May of last year, attempts to capture Vovchansk have not ceased," concluded Popovych.
