The Russian army captured the village of Nevske and continues to advance in many settlements of Donetsk region. This was reported by the resource DeepState.
Analysts emphasize that the occupiers have advanced in Vuhledar and Toretsk, which are located in the Donetsk region. They also managed to approach Novogrodivka in Donetsk region and Kruhliaivka in the Kharkiv region.
«The enemy captured Nevske and advanced near Novogrodivka, Kruhliaivka, Vodyane, Vuhledar and Toretsk», the resource reports.
Let us remind you that for two years now the 72nd mechanized brigade of the AFU has been defending Vuhledar in Donetsk region. During this time, the forces of the fighters have strengthened. However, they are at risk of becoming surrounded and cut off, as Russian troops continue to advance north of the city. This opinion was expressed by Forbes analyst, David Axe.
In addition, the Russian occupiers are trying to capture Kurakhove and Vuhledar to make it impossible for Ukrainian troops to move to strengthen the defense of Pokrovsk.
