Required Documents for Applying for the Subsidy
The subsidy can be applied for either at the place of residence or at the actual place of living. If the family rents an apartment, the rental agreement is the basis for receiving the support. For IDPs, proof of IDP status is an important document. To file an application, the application form and the declaration in the established formats must also be prepared. Sometimes additional documents are required:
- Rental agreement – if the applicant lives in a rented apartment;
- Copy of the debt restructuring agreement – if a relevant agreement is available;
- IDP proof – for the approval of the subsidy at the actual place of living.
Ways to Submit the Application for Subsidy for IDPs
Applicants can submit documents in several ways:
- through the electronic services web portal of the Pension Fund;
- in the mobile application 'Pension Fund';
- with the help of the 'Dija' portal;
- at the Centers for Administrative Services (ЦНАП);
- through authorized officials of local council executive bodies;
- at the service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
In Ukraine, there is a comprehensive social support system for displaced persons, which includes financial benefits, compensation for communal expenses, and assistance with job placement. The additional subsidy for rental housing is designed to support people who do not own property and are forced to rent at market prices.
