July Payments for Internally Displaced Persons Continue: Eligibility Rules and Data Update Deadlines.
Housing Assistance for Internally Displaced Persons in July 2023
According to Novyny.live: In July 2023, internally displaced persons (IDPs) will continue receiving housing support, provided they meet specific requirements. It is crucial to note that failing to update personal information on time could result in a suspension of payments. The monthly amounts remain unchanged:
- Adults receive 2,000 hryvnias per month,
- Children and individuals with disabilities receive 3,000 hryvnias.
Payments are granted for up to 30 months from the initial application date. They are disbursed in two installments each month: by the 15th and by the 28th. To resume payments after a denial, the income threshold is set at no more than 10,380 hryvnias per person.
Heating and Utility Subsidies
Additionally, IDPs can apply for heating assistance, which includes a one-time payment of approximately 19,400 hryvnias for solid fuel for eligible groups. People with disabilities also qualify for targeted utility aid:
- 500 hryvnias during the summer months,
- 700 hryvnias during the heating season.
These measures are designed to support vulnerable populations amid ongoing economic challenges.
Housing and utility assistance for internally displaced persons remains a cornerstone of Ukraine's social policy, especially given the prolonged war and economic strain. These payments help cover basic needs for those forced to flee their homes. Keeping personal data current and adhering to eligibility criteria are essential to ensure the continuity of these benefits and the stability of support for at-risk groups.
