Over 100 Hryvnias: Prices for Butter and Sunflower Oil Soar in Ukraine.
Prices for butter and sunflower oil continue to rise in Ukraine. According to the Minfin portal, butter now costs over 100 Hryvnias per package. This also applies to sunflower oil.
Recently, Ukrainians have noticed an increase in prices for everyday products that are essential for every family. Oil, which we use daily for sandwiches and cooking, has become noticeably more expensive. These changes especially impact the budget, as they concern the simplest products that every family buys. Many are having to look for cheaper purchasing options. Below is the price change as of November 25.
In particular, Yagotynske butter 73% increased from 93.49 to 100.45 UAH for 200 grams. In Novus, the price is 98.99 UAH, while in Auchan it is slightly higher - 101.90 UAH.
As for sunflower oil, its price depends on the brand. Oleina refined oil has risen by a few kopecks and costs 65.95 UAH for 850 ml. Meanwhile, the refined sunflower oil from Shchedry Dar has increased in price from 62.53 to 69.40 UAH for 850 ml.
We remind you that chicken and pork prices have also risen in November.
