In a week, carrot prices have sharply increased: what is happening in the market.

Carrot prices continue to rise
Carrot prices in Ukraine continue to rise sharply, analysts from EastFruit note. They highlight a significant increase in trading activity over the past two weeks.
According to market monitoring results, the price of carrots increased by 11% in the last week.
Currently, carrots can be purchased for between 20 and 28 hryvnias per kilogram. The cost takes into account the quality of the product, regional characteristics, and contract conditions.
Specialists explain the price dynamics by a significant increase in demand for carrots.
Interestingly, most agricultural enterprises have ceased the sale of high-quality carrots, hoping for further price increases. Producers are currently storing the main volumes of the harvest and are only selling excess batches, which has created a shortage of supply in the market.
The price of carrots is significantly different from last year - it has increased by 83%.
Producers are considering the possibility of further price increases, given the stable demand, which could significantly impact market dynamics in the future.
Let us remind you that before the holidays, cucumber prices in Ukraine have significantly decreased.
