According to inkorr.com: Every morning at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Karina Timofeeva.

26-year-old Karina Timofeeva, a defender and drone operator, died on April 11, 2025, in the Kharkiv region, near the village of Neskuchne. This information was reported by the Oleksandriyska City Council via the 'Glavkom' resource.

Karina was born on December 1, 1998, in a working-class family in the village of Vylshana (Kharkiv region). After finishing local school, she received a secondary education and studied at a vocational school, where she obtained a hairdresser's qualification.

In 2016, Karina became a mother to her daughter Alona, and by 2019, she enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under contract, obtaining a communications specialist qualification. Initially, she served in the 46th Separate Assault Battalion 'Donbas', and from the beginning of 2025, she was transferred to the 127 Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces, where she operated in the Kharkiv direction since February this year.

The Last Moments of Karina's Life

During the full-scale invasion in 2022, Karina's family from Kupiansk moved to Kropyvnytskyi and later settled in the village of Oleksandrivske. Together with her mother and daughter, they lived at Karina's former mother-in-law's house, who is now raising her granddaughter Alona. Family members note that Karina's uncle, her mother's brother, also participated in this war and was killed.

“Karina loved her daughter Alona more than anything in the world. She was a good housekeeper, loved nature, fishing, and singing. We remember her as a devoted mother and serviceman,” family members recall.

Karina Timofeeva was buried in the cemetery in the village of Oleksandrivske; she left behind her mother and daughter Alona. 'Glavkom' also joins the moment of silence, honoring the memory of all Ukrainians who died at the hands of the Russian invaders.

The events surrounding the death of Karina Timofeeva emphasize the great sacrifice and selflessness of Ukrainian defenders who risk their lives for the peace and independence of the country. The memory of them will always remain in the hearts of Ukrainians, reminding of these vengeful times we are experiencing.
