Hero Yuriy Ivlyev died for Ukraine: what is known about the defender from Lviv region.

Yuriy Ivlyev was born on May 6, 1989, in the village of Mali Pidlysky in Lviv region. He studied at the school of the village of Zapytiv in the Novoyarychiv settlement council of Lviv region.

Yuriy worked in the construction industry at private enterprises. He was known for having a big heart and a sincere soul, loved football, and was always ready to help others. In 2023, Yuriy enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight for his homeland. He was assigned to the south-slobozhansky direction, where he defended the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Tragically, Yuriy died on August 16, 2025. He was buried on August 25 in the village of Mali Pidlysky. A brother was left behind the scenes.
