Threat of Offensive: Ukrainian Armed Forces Warned of Possible Intensification of Fighting on One of the Directions.
Russian troops are preparing for a possible offensive in the area of Robotyne on the Zaporizhzhia direction, reported the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vlad Voloshyn. According to him, counter-battery combat is currently being conducted on the front line, but it is expected that Russian forces may soon begin large-scale assault actions. Voloshyn also noted that the enemy is already deploying their assault groups to forward positions and conducting reconnaissance-search operations.
The spokesman also reported that Russian forces are using various weapons, including artillery, aviation, and drones. The enemy is trying to regroup after success near Vuhledar for further attacks on the Robotyne salient.
According to Voloshyn, activity is also increasing on the Kherson and Dnipro directions after a 10-day lull. However, there is no preparation for a large-scale offensive by large groups observed in southern Ukraine. The enemy is preparing to conduct assault actions with small infantry groups, and heavy armored vehicles have not yet been recorded in this direction.
It was also confirmed that Ukrainian forces continue to hold Russian soldiers captive on their section of the front.
