No need to order a new one: Oschadbank suggested how to set and change the bank card PIN code.
The management of Oschadbank explained how to change the bank card PIN code. This was reported by Sergei Naumov, the chairman of the board, on Telegram.
It is very important to change the card's PIN code from Time to time for its protection. Oschadbank has provided several methods for changing the PIN code if you suspect that the code has become known to outsiders or just want to enhance the security of your finances.
Naumov emphasized that many customers this week were asking questions about changing the PIN code, especially those who forgot the previous code.
When receiving the card, clients can independently set the PIN code using one of the following methods:
- through the Oschadbank chat-bot;
- through the POS terminal at the bank branch;
- through an ATM or informational-payment terminal;
- through the contact center in automatic mode.
After setting the PIN code, the card becomes active and ready for use.
If you forgot the PIN code, you do not need to order a new card. It can be changed online without the need to contact the bank, using:
- chat-bot;
- contact center with voice assistant Sophia;
- the "Mobile Oschad" application.
To change the PIN code through the voice assistant, you need to call from the financial phone number to the toll-free number 0800210800 and report the need to change the PIN code, pronounce the last four digits of the card and follow the prompts.
Important: the first change of the PIN code is free, each subsequent one costs 15 hryvnias.
In the "Mobile Oschad" application, you need to select the card for which the PIN code needs to be changed, open "Card Settings" in the upper right corner, select "PIN code Settings" and enter a new code.
Naumov also emphasized that changing the PIN code through the "Mobile Oschad" app does not cost money.
