Zaporizhzhia region introduces remote housing inspections: who will receive compensation.
According to inkorr.com: The Defense Council of Zaporizhzhia region approved a new procedure for remote inspections of residential buildings in areas of active hostilities. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional state administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Inspection procedure and issuance of certificates
'Recently, the government provided us with this opportunity for the area of active hostilities, and now cities like Orihiv, Hulyaipole, and Stepnohirs'k can obtain certificates for destroyed property to purchase new housing. Results are already available – in Orihiv community, 23 certificates have been issued, and in Hulyaipil's'ka – three. We will analyze the experience and make changes to the legislation. Remote inspection requires interaction with law enforcement and military. The algorithm is developed.'
Compensations for housing
Fedorov also noted that compensation in areas of active hostilities is available only for housing that has been damaged by 80%. He emphasized that obtaining certificates does not guarantee automatic receipt of funds that come from European partners.
Remote inspection and new compensation opportunities serve as important steps to support those affected by the war. Regional authorities are gradually improving mechanisms for providing assistance to create better conditions for citizens who have lost their homes due to the conflict.
