Delays at the border with Poland: biometric tests and Hasids have increased queues.
At the checkpoints 'Shehyni - Medyka' and 'Krakivets - Korchowa' at the border with Poland, delays in the movement of vehicles leaving Ukraine are possible. This is reported by 'Hlavkom' citing the State Customs Service.
Delays when leaving Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Citizens planning to travel through the Ukrainian-Polish border should be prepared for delays at the checkpoints 'Shehyni - Medyka' and 'Krakivets - Korchowa'. The complications are related to the Polish side's verification of the biometric data system and the departure of Hasid pilgrims.
Customs recommendations
For convenience, alternative checkpoints should be considered: 'Rava-Ruska - Krebenné', 'Hrushev - Budomierz', 'Ugryniv - Dolgobychiv', 'Nyzhankovychi - Malhovice'.
Current information
It should be noted that the flow of passengers at the border has increased due to the departure of Hasid pilgrims, especially after the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, which has led to increased traffic at the borders with Moldova and Poland.
In the conditions of increased activity at the border, travelers should consider the possibility of long waiting times. It is recommended to plan trips in advance and consider alternative routes to avoid inconveniences.
