On Sunday, August 3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated citizens on Air Force Day, shared important news regarding the strengthening of the country's defense capability, and thanked the military for their contribution to the security of the country.In his speech, Zelensky highlighted the heroism and professionalism of the soldiers of the Ukrainian Air Force, talked about the renewal of the combat aviation and the expected delivery of new F-16 aircraft. He also emphasized the importance of integrating the Ukrainian Air Force with NATO to enhance the country’s defense and the security of Europe.It was noted that the new commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is Lieutenant General Anatoliy Kryvonozhko. He has been entrusted with leadership in this important branch of the country’s armed forces.
