Zelensky convened a delegation for negotiations with the USA: who is part of it.
According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced in his address that he is actively preparing for negotiations with the United States, which will take place in the near future.
Composition of the delegation
According to the president's words, a high-ranking delegation will head to the meeting. It will include:
Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov,
representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov,
representatives of Ukrainian intelligence.
'Negotiations will be held soon. Our representatives will be there — Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, and our intelligence,' the president noted.
Resignation of the Head of the President's Office
Zelensky also reported that the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak has submitted his resignation.
Washington's Peace Plan
It is worth recalling that Washington has classified a new peace plan even from the EU. According to information from Politico, the USA has 'excluded' Europe from working on the document.
The president's address indicates the importance of international negotiations in the context of current events in Ukraine. The resignation of Andriy Yermak may reflect a change in the approach to managing crisis situations, while the new peace plan, classified from the EU, raises additional questions regarding the USA's strategy in the region. It is crucial to monitor the development of these events, as they may significantly impact the dynamics of political relations in Ukraine and beyond.
