Zelensky: F-16 in Ukraine, we ensured this (video).
The first F-16 fighters arrived in Ukraine, marking a new stage in the development of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky. He congratulated the military on Air Force Day.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine possesses modern and effective air defense systems that allow the country to be protected. He also noted that during the war our Air Force conducted 22,000 combat sorties and continues to increase its power.

The head of state expressed gratitude to all the warriors and workers who helped ensure the presence of F-16 fighters in Ukraine. He also wished the Air Force of Ukraine to be proud of their combat aviation and to bring victory to our country.
Let us recall that the first ten F-16 fighters arrived in Ukraine on the last day of July.
