According to UATV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with Danish Defense Minister Jeppe Bruus during his first visit to Kyiv since taking office. The discussions centered on finalizing the so-called Drone Deal and securing a fresh assistance package for Ukraine.
Details of the Agreement and Continued Support for Ukraine
The meeting focused heavily on the specifics of the Drone Deal. Zelenskyy commented,
“I know our teams have been working on it, and it is nearly ready.”Additionally, the negotiations covered broader support for Ukraine, with Denmark planning to deliver 15,000 long-range artillery rounds. This marks the 30th such aid package from Copenhagen.
Minister Bruus assured that both he and Denmark’s new government will maintain a policy of strong support for Ukraine and its people. This reaffirms Denmark’s commitment to remaining a key security and defense partner for Kyiv.
