According to a new survey by the Gallup polling agency, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has a significantly higher level of popularity in the USA than President Donald Trump. His approval rating among Americans is twice that of the former US president.

Zelensky ranked second among 14 well-known personalities evaluated by respondents. Only Pope Leo XIV — the first American pontiff — is ahead of him, leading the list with a net rating of +46%.

In third place was Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, followed by French President Emmanuel Macron and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Sanders is the only one, besides Zelensky and Pope Leo, to have received a positive net rating.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk received the most negative rating. His net approval rating is -28%, making him the least popular among respondents.

A total of 1002 US citizens participated in the survey. Gallup emphasizes that the net approval level is one of the most accurate ways to assess public attitudes towards both well-known and less popular figures.

It is worth noting that Donald Trump has expressed his views on the political future of JD Vance.

In contrast, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed a new armed initiative with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
