Zelensky announced losses of Russian troops in the Kursk direction.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, spoke about the successes of the Kursk operation and the discussions at the Headquarters regarding the protection of frontline areas, particularly Pokrovsk. The head of state made this statement in his evening address.
In five months of the Kursk operation, the enemy has lost more than 38 thousand military personnel, of which about 15 thousand have died. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding a buffer zone in Russian territory and continue to destroy the enemy's military potential.
Zelensky noted that the Russians have redeployed powerful military units to Kursk, including soldiers from North Korea. Thanks to the actions of the Armed Forces, these forces cannot be directed to other areas - Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, or Zaporizhzhia.
The Headquarters also discussed issues related to the staffing and rotation of brigades. The President emphasized the need for systemic changes in the army to improve personnel management at all levels.
Additionally, a meeting was held regarding international cooperation. According to the president, Ukraine is working to expedite arms deliveries and develop long-term relations with partners.
