The President signed the law on the ratification of the agreement with the USA
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed the law on the ratification of the agreement between Ukraine and the United States of America on the establishment of a Joint Reconstruction Investment Fund. The signed document has been returned to the Verkhovna Rada with the signature of the head of state.
As noted in the card of the bill No. 0309, the president put his signature on May 12, 2025.
Agreement with the USA on the establishment of the Reconstruction Investment Fund
On April 17, the Ukrainian and American sides signed a memorandum confirming a mutual desire to conclude a mutually beneficial agreement on economic partnership between the two countries. On April 30, Ukraine and the USA directly signed an agreement on the establishment of the Reconstruction Investment Fund, the text of which was published the following day.
The legislative process was completed on May 8, when the Verkhovna Rada supported bill No. 0309 on the ratification of the agreement on the creation of the American-Ukrainian Reconstruction Investment Fund. 338 deputies voted for the adoption of the document.
