Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that discussing Europe's security with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is not worth it. He mentioned this in an interview with The Guardian.
'We have full trust in our army. I will tell you frankly: if we have the opportunity to increase our army, to seriously increase it, if we have both weapons and funding – we can live without another continent. But once again, this is a question of Europe's security... Shouldn't military presence and security issues in Europe be discussed by Europe itself? Just as the defense of the United States is a matter for the United States itself,' Zelensky emphasized.
According to Zelensky, it is also necessary to stop 'childish conversations' and act decisively to ensure Europe's security.
'Putin never asked about anything – he just attacked our territory. So why should the people whose territory is at war ask him about something?... Maybe we should stop these foolish conversations? We have our own security guarantees. Europe should defend itself because it is Europe. And 'Russians' are 'Russians'. They should be put in their place,' the president added.
Let us remind you, Zelensky also mentioned how Trump could stop Putin.
