Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has no intention of ending the war in Ukraine. According to Zelensky, Putin wishes to revive the greatness of the Soviet Union, and therefore keeps the conflict with our country. 'Putin wants to restore the power of the Soviet Union. This will not happen, but not everyone can explain this to him... To achieve his goal, he must first settle with Ukraine,' the president emphasized. Zelensky stressed the need to put pressure on Russia to end the conflict. He believes in the pragmatic approach of the Russians, who, in his opinion, can end the war under pressure. However, the president noted that this raises the question of Ukraine's security. According to the president, the involvement of third parties willing to confront the aggressor is necessary to resolve the conflict. He noted the global impact of the war on other countries and hopes for support from the U.S. president's administration. Zelensky supported the idea of ending the conflict and hopes for constructive actions to achieve peace. Ukrainian President Zelensky believes that the Russian leadership under Putin does not seek to end the war with Ukraine due to a desire to revive past power. He calls for pressure on Russia and is confident in the pragmatism of the Russians regarding ending the conflict, but emphasizes the importance of security guarantees for Ukraine. Zelensky also expressed readiness for the involvement of third parties in resolving the situation and hopes for peace support from international communities.
