Zelensky also noted that there were instances of hitting targets in various regions, particularly in Mukachevo, where the Russians struck an American enterprise that is not military.

'The Russians clearly knew where they were hitting, and it was a missile strike. We believe that this was a targeted strike specifically against American property here in Ukraine, against American investments. A very telling strike. Just like this entire massive attack. Right when the world expects a clear response from the Russians — a response about negotiations to end the war,' Zelensky emphasized.

The head of state emphasized the need for negotiations in the format of a leaders' meeting, noting that, most likely, Russia is not inclined towards peaceful resolutions of the conflict.

'Now the signals from Russia are, frankly, just dishonest. They are trying to evade the need to hold a meeting. They do not want to end this war. They continue large-scale attacks against Ukraine and very harsh assaults on the front. And they are also launching missiles at an American enterprise — just like at many other absolutely civilian targets of ours. Moreover, right near the borders of the European Union and NATO — a Russian strike drone crossed the border of Poland. Very unpleasant incidents with drones also occurred in Lithuania. This is not accidental. This is Russian arrogance. We expect that the reaction of our partners will be principled,' the President of Ukraine emphasized.
