Zelensky commented on Russian shelling, destruction of DPRK troops and the new Ramstein.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia carried out large-scale strikes on civilian objects in Sumy and Chernihiv regions and suffered significant losses in the Kursk direction.
In the village of Svesa in Sumy region, the entrance of an apartment building from the first to the fifth floor was destroyed as a result of an airstrike by Russian troops. Seven people were injured, including a two-year-old girl who is currently in the hospital.
“Another Russian strike on the lives of ordinary Ukrainian families,” emphasized the President in his address.
Russian troops also carried out airstrikes on the villages of Myropillya and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy area using guided aerial bombs. In Chernihiv, more than 40 buildings were damaged as a result of a missile strike, and there is one fatality.
Zelensky stated that the issue of strengthening Ukraine's air defense will be discussed at the scheduled meeting this week in the 'Ramstein' format.
The most difficult situation at the front is observed in the Pokrovsk direction. Commander Syrskiy stated that the enemy suffered significant losses: “In the battles today and yesterday in the area of just one village Makhnoivka in Kursk region, the Russian army lost up to a battalion of infantry consisting of North Korean soldiers and Russian paratroopers.”
