Zelensky commented on the strike on the Odesa port, which resulted in the deaths of foreigners.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Russia does not desire peace. He stated this after the occupiers' strike on the Odesa port, which resulted in the deaths of foreigners. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing the President's Office.
Currently, Russian strikes do not stop. Every night - over a hundred 'shahids' against Ukraine. Constantly - missile strikes, and, unfortunately, there are hits on our civilian infrastructure, including ports, particularly Odesa. Yesterday there was damage to a civilian vessel - right when wheat was being loaded, heading to Algeria. People died, citizens of Syria,' the president emphasized.
Zelensky also expressed his condolences and noted that Russia does not desire peace.
'My condolences. There were also injured, they are receiving necessary assistance. Any attempt by Russia to 'loop' will be clear evidence for everyone that it is Russia that does not desire peace and opposes the conclusion of peace agreements. I thank everyone who helps us protect lives and who works to ensure security. Now we live in times when many things are being decided. I thank everyone who helps. Glory to Ukraine!', the head of Ukraine emphasized.
It should be noted that the Russian army carried out a ballistic strike on the Odesa Sea Trade Port on the evening of March 11, resulting in the deaths of four crew members of a foreign vessel.
It is worth noting that the vessel MJ PINA under the flag of Barbados was damaged by a ballistic missile. As a result of the strike, four citizens of Syria died and two were injured - citizens of Ukraine and Syria.
