The losses of the Russian troops in this operation reached almost three thousand individuals, most of whom are irreversible. The President noted:
Thank you to all our units involved in the operation.
The situation in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions
The meeting also discussed the situation in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, particularly around Kupiansk. The destruction of a Russian Su-34 in Zaporizhzhia, which had previously struck Ukrainian cities, was confirmed.
Strengthening air defense
Zelensky emphasized:
We will continue to justly destroy Russian military aviation in response to strikes on our cities, on our people. He noted that cooperation with partners to strengthen the air defense system continues, and after visits to New York, the Ministry of Defense and Ukrainian diplomats received important instructions.
