Zelensky revealed details of the conversation with Trump about ending the war: what the presidents decided.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, had a phone conversation with Donald Trump, during which they discussed the possibilities of achieving peace and further cooperation between the countries.
'I just spoke with Donald Trump. It was a lengthy conversation. We discussed the possibilities of achieving peace. About our readiness to work together at the team level. About our technological capabilities, including drones and other modern productions,' Zelensky wrote on social media.
According to the President of Ukraine, they also discussed the preparation of a new agreement regarding security and economic and resource cooperation with Scott Bessent. Trump informed Zelensky about the details of his conversation with Putin.
'Ukraine wants peace more than anyone. We are determining our joint steps with America to stop Russian aggression and ensure reliable, lasting peace. As President Trump said, let's get it done,' added the Ukrainian leader.
Earlier that day, Donald Trump had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which they agreed to start negotiations regarding Ukraine. According to CNN, which was later confirmed by Trump himself in a post on the social network Truth Social, the parties discussed the situation in Ukraine, the Middle East, energy issues, artificial intelligence, and other topics.
