Zelensky explained how the share of Ukrainian weapons is increasing on the front line.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that more than 40% of the weapons used on the front line to defend the state are produced by Ukrainian enterprises. The head of state posted this information on social media.
'Today, I awarded the workers of our defense-industrial complex. More than 40% of all the weapons used on the front line to defend Ukraine are made in Ukraine,' Zelensky noted.
The President emphasized that the trend of increasing the share of domestically produced weapons remains unchanged. According to him, Ukraine will produce more weapons both independently and in collaboration with international partners to ensure its security.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to all workers of defense enterprises for their efforts and highlighted the importance of developing domestic weapons production.
'Ukraine will always need its own strong weapons in order to have a strong Ukrainian state. Ukraine will always need its own technological advantage so that Russia knows: we will respond to every blow,' the President concluded.
