Zelensky reported how many Chinese could participate in the war on Russia's side.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the participation of 155 citizens of China in combat actions on the side of Russia against Ukraine. According to Ukrainian intelligence, most Chinese citizens became soldiers of the Russian army in the second half of 2024. Zelensky also revealed the scheme for recruiting foreigners, particularly through social networks, with TikTok being the most popular. It is known that Chinese citizens serve in various units of the Russian army. Recently, Ukrainian military captured two Chinese citizens for the first time during a battle in the Donetsk region.
According to the information received, after recruiting, the Chinese arrive in Moscow, where they undergo medical examinations and training. To legalize their stay, migration cards and payment cards of the 'Mir' system are issued. Chinese citizens perform various combat functions within the Russian army. The recruitment process of Chinese citizens into the Russian army continues to this day.
