Zelensky said which targets in Russia Ukraine wants to hit.
Zelensky on Ukraine's targets in Russia
President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed the targets in Russia that Ukraine seeks permission to hit. He disclosed this during a conversation with American CNN journalist Fareed Zakaria.
Zelensky noted that Ukraine intends to attack military bases, not civilian infrastructure. "Everyone is watching the decisions of the United States. Everyone is waiting for such decisions, after which they will make their own decisions. This is true. We really wanted to use this weapon and just attack these planes at military bases, not civilian infrastructure, but military bases," he said.
The president also emphasized that aircraft on military bases use guided bombs, which lead to damage to Ukrainian civilian objects. He noted that such bombs have destroyed up to 80% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Zelensky explained that Ukraine had been waiting for permission for a long time, but now Russia has changed its tactic of relocating aircraft, and more permissions are required to counter their attacks.
Let us recall, Zelensky explained his plan for Biden, Trump, and Harris to the congressmen.
