According to UATV: Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 22, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy insisted that Vladimir Putin must be brought to justice. He emphasized that the war in Europe is now in its fourth year and called for decisive action to achieve accountability. His remarks underscore the ongoing struggle for international justice amid a protracted conflict that has reshaped European security.

Zelenskyy pointed out that Putin, while remaining at large, is actively fighting to regain access to his frozen assets in Europe.

"He is not merely at liberty; he is actively contesting for his frozen assets in Europe," stated Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Ukrainian President also noted that the stance of the United States has led many nations to avoid discussions concerning the International Criminal Court.

"Because of the U.S. position, many are currently shying away from topics related to the International Criminal Court," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He further observed that, despite existing agreements and numerous meetings, Europe has yet to reach the stage where a dedicated tribunal would have a physical headquarters, hired experts, and be conducting substantive work. "We have an agreement, yes, and many meetings have been held, but Europe has not yet progressed to the point where this tribunal would have a building, experts would be employed, and real work would be underway," the President stressed.
