Zelensky responded to the petition about the military administration in Odessa: what is known.
According to inkorr.com: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the petition for the establishment of a city military administration in Odessa. As reported by 'Glavkom', the petition, submitted by Ivan Kazachuk on September 24 last year, was justified by the necessity of creating a military administration due to the city's proximity to the combat zone.
In his response, Zelensky noted that the decision to establish military administrations is made by the president based on recommendations from regional state administrations or military command. He also sent requests to verify the situation in Odessa. Currently, no proposals for the creation of a military administration in Odessa have been received.
The petition for depriving Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov of Ukrainian citizenship
Moreover, on October 13, a petition appeared on the president's website demanding to strip Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov of Ukrainian citizenship due to possible violations of the law. This petition collected more than 25 thousand signatures in just a few hours.
Thus, the submitted initiatives indicate an activation of public discussions regarding management issues in Odessa. The question of establishing a military administration and the legality of the mayor's actions is causing significant resonance in society, and similar petitions could significantly influence the further developments in the city.
