Zelensky Honors the Memory of Those Who Died as a Result of the Russian Strike on Kryvyi Rih.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, visited Kryvyi Rih and honored those who died from the Russian strike. According to him, the attack by a Russian ballistic missile resulted in the deaths of 19 people, including 9 children. During the rescue operations, a drone strike was carried out on residential buildings and infrastructure, resulting in one death and five injuries.
The President emphasized that one must not forget the crimes committed by Russia against Ukrainians and that human life holds no meaning for Russia.
In the city, 60 apartment buildings and 23 private houses, as well as three educational institutions, were damaged.
The attack on Kryvyi Rih on April 4 became the deadliest in terms of the number of children killed from a single strike, according to the confirmation from the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission.
The spiritual advisor to the US President, Mark Burns, also condemned Russia's terror and called on the world to support Ukraine.
A memorial service for those who died as a result of the missile attack was held on April 7.
The US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased, noting that the attack was carried out using a ballistic missile with a cluster munition warhead.
