Earthquake in Afghanistan and Turkey
According to inkorr.com: In August, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 struck near Jalalabad, Afghanistan. This natural disaster resulted in numerous casualties and injuries. The tremors occurred in a remote area at 11:47 PM local time on Sunday, at a depth of 8 km.
According to local officials, more than 20 people have died, and over 115 have been injured. Rescue operations are complicated by blocked roads, so they are being carried out from the air. Volunteers are providing assistance in hospitals, and helicopters are transporting the injured.
At the same time, in Turkey, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 struck the Sindirgi area in Balıkesir.
In both countries, rescue teams continue to work on providing aid to those affected. Temporary shelters and medical support are being provided to people who have lost their homes. This confirms that natural disasters can cause serious damage even in places where people usually feel safe.Read also
