From Lviv to Odesa now only with verification — what are the reasons.
Ukrzaliznytsia has updated the list of routes that require verification through Diia.Signature when buying tickets. One of these trains travels from Lviv to Odesa.
This was reported by the of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Only with verification
The company has changed the number of trains that require verification through Diia.Signature. The innovation will operate in test mode starting August 1. Identity confirmation will be required when purchasing tickets for the following domestic trains:
- №29/30 Kyiv — Uzhhorod,
- №12 Lviv — Odesa,
- №27/28 Kyiv — Chop.
Earlier it was planned to introduce verification for trains №105/106 'Odesa — Kyiv', and №91/92 'Lviv — Kyiv', but taking into account customer requests, this decision was canceled.
Ukrzaliznytsia implemented these changes to combat abuse and fight ticket speculators.
Tickets will be available at ticket offices
Initially, it was planned that ticket purchases for routes requiring verification would not be available at ticket offices. However, later it was decided to provide such an opportunity.
To ensure access to tickets for passengers without new sample passports or the ability to update, their sale will be available at certain ticket offices:
- in Chop (ticket office №2);
- in Uzhhorod (ticket office №2);
- in Lviv (ticket office №1);
- in Odesa (ticket offices №14 and №2);
- in Kyiv (ticket offices №21 and 22).
'To purchase or return tickets for these trains, passengers will need to verify their account in the Ukrzaliznytsia application', representatives of the company noted.
Recently, a new train from Odesa to Zhytomyr was announced, as well as additional trains for the summer period.
Ukrzaliznytsia is introducing new rules whereby some trains require verification through Diia.Signature. This will help fight against speculators and ensure the safety of passengers during their journeys on domestic routes.
