10,800 UAH Payouts for Sumy Region Residents: Who Qualifies for This Aid.
Financial Support for Vulnerable Groups
According to Novyny.live: This summer, residents of frontline communities in Ukraine's Sumy region can apply for cash assistance provided by the organization 'Lampa' in partnership with the Danish Refugee Council. Each family member is eligible to receive 10,800 UAH, a sum that can significantly ease the financial burden on households in need.
A family of five, for instance, could receive up to 54,000 UAH. The aid is available to:
- Families with internally displaced persons,
- Individuals with disabilities,
- Single mothers with children,
- Households raising three or more children under the age of 18,
- Senior citizens aged 60 and older,
- People suffering from severe illnesses.
This initiative is made possible through funding from the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine. Registration is currently open for residents of the Nyzhnyosyrovatska rural community in the Sumy district. For more details, individuals can reach out via the following contact numbers: 0 (800) 33-60-13, +38 (067) 131-69-80, or +38 (050) 051-85-94.
Previously, another program was announced offering payouts of up to 12,300 UAH, backed by the U.S. government. These efforts aim to support vulnerable populations and alleviate hardships amid the region's challenging social and economic conditions.
'The financial assistance provided through this initiative is a crucial step in supporting people who have been placed in difficult circumstances due to the war and economic struggles.'
Given that many families have lost a steady source of income, such programs can have a profound impact on their well-being and ability to cover basic needs. Ensuring that information about this aid reaches everyone who requires it is vital, as it helps promote greater social equity across the region.
