According to Novyny.live: In May 2026, the charitable organization 'Caritas Ukraine' announced a financial aid program for residents of the city of Vilniansk. Each household will receive a one-time payment of 10,800 UAH. Registration for this cash assistance, open to both local residents and internally displaced persons, has already begun.
This initiative is backed by the U.S. Government and targets individuals living in frontline communities located within 50 kilometers of the conflict line. Priority registration will be given to settlements situated 0–20 kilometers from the demarcation line. The aid is intended for low-income individuals or those who have lost their primary source of income due to the war.
