Who is at risk of returning accrued benefit and subsidy payments
According to the information from the Pension Fund, in 2025, recipients of benefits and subsidies may be required to return accrued assistance in case of violating the mandatory requirement to notify PFU authorities about changes affecting the right to receive payments.
To avoid problems, citizens must promptly report such changes:
- passport data;
- surname;
- contact information;
- bank details;
- employment;
- entrepreneurial activity.
Family changes may also affect the receipt of subsidies, so citizens should be ready to notify about such circumstances within the established timeframes.
'Untimely notification of changes may result in unlawful payments that will need to be returned' - they emphasize in the Pension Fund.
How to avoid financial problems with the state
Individuals receiving benefits and social assistance can avoid financial problems if they timely inform the PFU about changes through convenient communication channels: in person, via electronic cabinet, by mail, or through the workplace.
