Legal Experts Explain Why 'Reserve+' May Wrongly Remove Users and How to Fix It.
Legal Guidance on Incorrect Removal from Ukraine's Military Registry
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian citizens may find themselves unexpectedly removed from the military registry in the 'Reserve+' app, a situation that can restrict their rights, including the ability to obtain a deferral. Legal professionals have outlined the potential causes for this issue and the steps to resolve it. According to lawyer Yuriy Aivazyan, the removal is often an administrative error. This can frequently be linked to technical glitches within the 'Reserve+' application, which is used to manage military personnel records. The app is a key digital tool for mobilization and conscription management in Ukraine.
Steps Recommended by Lawyers
To address the problem, attorney Vladyslav Derii advises taking the following actions:
- First, try deleting and reinstalling the 'Reserve+' app. This basic step can resolve the issue if it is caused by a temporary software malfunction.
- If the problem persists, the next step is to contact your local Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC).
- Should the TRC fail to resolve it, submit a formal written request demanding they correct your data in the 'Oberih' military registry.
Maintaining accurate military registration is critically important for many Ukrainians, especially under martial law and the ongoing need to secure legal deferrals. Understanding that technical errors can occur and knowing the proper channels for correction allows citizens to protect their rights effectively. Proactively engaging with the relevant authorities to fix registry mistakes is a crucial step in upholding one's legal obligations and entitlements within the military accounting system.
