Golden borscht set: cabbage prices begin to rise in Ukraine.

In the Ukrainian market, the price of white cabbage has increased due to rising demand, experts from the EastFruit project report.

Owners of quality cabbage have taken advantage of this situation and raised prices for consumers. On average, they offer the product at 20-27 UAH/kg ($0.48-0.65/kg), depending on quality and volume. This is 11% higher compared to last week.

Stocks of white cabbage on the market were limited, as farmers were in no hurry to sell, anticipating further price increases.

Today, the price of white cabbage in Ukraine is 2.7 times higher than last year, and experts predict further price hikes.
