According to inkorr.com: A golden statue of U.S. President Donald Trump holding a bitcoin has been installed in Washington. This news was reported by 'Glavcom' citing WJLA.

The temporary installation is located on Third Street from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and was funded by a group of cryptocurrency investors. The organizers note that the project aims to initiate a discussion about the future of digital currency, monetary policy, and the role of the federal government in financial markets.

“The installation is meant to spark a dialogue about the future of currency issued by the government and serves as a symbol of the merging of modern politics with financial innovations. With the Federal Reserve shaping economic policy, we hope this statue encourages people to reflect on the growing influence of cryptocurrencies,” said Hicham Zagdoudi, a representative of the group of cryptocurrency investors who funded this artistic project.

Call for updating regulatory approaches

Previously, the administration of Donald Trump urged U.S. government agencies to urgently review regulatory approaches to cryptocurrencies and ensure their integration into the country's economy.

In particular, Trump signed the first law in U.S. history regulating the cryptocurrency market, known as GENIUS.

Thus, a golden statue of Trump holding a bitcoin appeared in Washington, aimed at provoking a discussion about the future of cryptocurrencies and their place in financial markets. The current administration also called for updating regulatory approaches to this type of currency, facilitating their integration into the national economy.
