Viral video of a child and cat: police have started an investigation.
According to inkorr.com: According to information from the "Glavkom" website, animal rights activists expressed outrage over a video that became popular online. In it, a child draws a cat with markers, holding it forcibly. Animal psychology expert Sonya Vons noted that the cat feels fear and exhaustion.
This video is nothing more than cruelty towards animals. The cat is simply paralyzed and exhausted from fear and attempts to escape, and it is being tossed around like meat in a market. And no, this is not a "one-off event." These are the values that parents instill in their children, as both have zero empathy for animals. For them, this is just a toy...
The animal psychologist believes that the child was torturing the cat. Her mother, who works as an anesthesiologist, is currently on maternity leave. The woman has contacted experts and justified her child's actions, stating that she has already had a conversation with the children about proper treatment of animals.
Reactions of law enforcement and animal rights activists to the incident with the cat
Law enforcement in the Lviv region has started an investigation concerning the incident of cruel treatment of the animal. The animal rights organization UAnimals also supports the appeals to child services and the police.
This case involving the cat, which shocked animal rights activists, prompts action from law enforcement and the involvement of child services in situations of animal cruelty. It is important to monitor the developments and take necessary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
