Threat from Drones and Missiles

According to ТСН: On the morning of January 13, air alerts were declared in several regions of Ukraine due to the threat from drones. Several groups of UAVs were observed, and subsequently, information about missiles emerged. The worst situation is currently in the Kyiv region.

According to the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, at 7:00, about 30 enemy strike drones were in the air, concentrated in the Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions.

In particular, drones were detected in the Kyiv region moving towards Vyshhorod, Brovary, and Makariv.

At 07:18, the Air Forces warned about a fast-moving target in Sumy region, and then about new aerial targets heading towards Kyiv region. Monitoring channels indicate new Iskander cruise missiles.

“Fast-moving target in Sumy region. A few more missiles. Missiles in Sumy and Poltava regions. Course - west,” the Air Forces warned.

It is worth noting that at night, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukrainian energy, shelling Kyiv and several regions with ballistic missiles. It is known that Irpin, Bucha, and Hostomel (Kyiv region) were almost completely cut off from electricity after the explosions.

These events indicate a worsening situation in Ukraine, which is facing a constant threat from the enemy. Increased activity of drones and missiles poses a threat to the civilian population and energy infrastructure, which has already suffered significant damage during previous attacks. It is now important to monitor the situation and maintain security measures in regions where there is the greatest danger.
